The Johnson County Sheriff's Office would like to notify you of changing Inmate Commissary and Inmate Mail in the Detention Division.

The Sheriff's Office has partnered with Keefe Commissary Group, who is an automated commissary management service. Beginning January 18th, 2022, inmate money can now be accepted on the kiosk in the front lobby of the Sheriff's Office. This kiosk accepts cash and debit/credit cards. Also beginning January 18th, 2022, money(s) will no longer be accepted at the front desk. Money can also be accepted on their website at accesscorrections.com and you can review their website for other additional payment options. Inmate money orders through the mail will no longer be accepted after January 31, 2022. Any money orders through the mail will be returned to sender.

Inmate mail has also changed. Mail is to be sent to the below address and in the same format:

The only mail allowed to be delivered to inmates at our facility will be legal or privileged mail. Books and inmate property are no longer accepted via mail and are made available by Keefe or inmate tablets. Any mail received at our facility after January 31, 2022 will be returned to sender.
