CIVILIAN DETENTION OFFICER - JAIL DIVISION
The Johnson County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for full-time Civilian Detention Officers in the Jail Division. The position will be under the general direction of the Sheriff. Applicants must submit to a complete background investigation. Civilian Detention Officers work an assigned shift performing a variety of duties such as booking and releasing, confidential paperwork, visual checks, serving meals, and observing the safety of detainees.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Office is a progressive department. Uniforms and associated law enforcement equipment will be provided by the Sheriff's Office. Salary starting at $14.85 to $15.85 hourly or $30,888 to $32,968 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
