On August 29, 2024, at approximately 8:22 a.m., Deputies were dispatched to the 200 Block of SW Business 13 Highway, Warrensburg, Johnson County, Missouri, for a subject possibly in possession of stolen property.

Deputies made contact with Joseph Edward Hawn (43), who stated he possibly had the property and was willing to return it. I checked the property in question and found it did not match the description of the stolen item. While speaking with Joseph, I completed a MULES/NCIC check and found Joseph to have an active Warrant out of Warrensburg Police Department for Failure to Appear on a Traffic Violation with a $150.00 cash Bond. Joseph was arrested and transported to Johnson County Jail to be booked and released for the Warrant without further incident.
