On 08/24/2024 at approximately 2:05 P.M., I, Deputies, was dispatched to 393 SE 971 RD Knob Noster, Johnson County, Missouri, in regards to a fraud call. The Victim received a call from an unknown number. The caller claimed to be a deputy with the Johnson County Sheriff's Office and informed the victim she had missed jury duty and had warrants for which she needed to pay a fine. The victim paid the fraudulent fine at Walmart of $1,000.00.
