Crime Map Details

On April 17, 2022, Deputies responded to a rural Warrensburg address in the 100 block of SW 250 Road, in reference to multiple gunshots being heard.  When deputies arrived on scene, they discovered a 47 year old Victim, identified as Clifford Heffele of Warrensburg, MO, deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. A second Victim sustained non-life threatening injuries from single gunshot wound and was transported to a local area hospital.

During the course of the investigation, 28 year old Brandon L. Nodine, of Warrensburg, MO was placed under arrest and formally charged with Murder 2nd Degree, Armed Criminal Action, Burglary 1st Degree, Unlawful Use of Weapon and Tampering1st Degree with a Motor Vehicle with a no bond on all charges. A 17 year old Juvenile was taken into custody for Murder 1st Degree, Armed Criminal Action, Burglary 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree and Unlawful Use of Weapon. The Juvenile remains in Juvenile Custody.
