Crime Map Details

On 4/15/2022 at approximately 12:44am, deputies were dispatched to the area of 1150 block on NW 13 Hwy on a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a single car. Dispatch advised the car crashed into the ditch and its driver was reported to have injuries.

On scene a gray 2011 Nissan was observed crashed into the west side of the ditch. Talking with the driver and passenger, stated the accident was the passengers fault. Passenger stated during an argument while driving home, she grabbed the steering wheel causing the crash. Driver stated the same. Both driver and passenger having sustained injuries were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment. Both were placed under arrest at the scene, driver for Driving While Intoxicated and passenger for Assault having caused the crash with injuries.
