Stealing

01/15/2012

On January 11th, 2012 an off-duty Johnson County Sheriff’s deputy Corporal Andrew Gobber overheard radio traffic of a burglary in progress in the 400 block of NW 1601 Road in the Kingsville area.  Cpl. Gobber was en route to his home after completing his regularly scheduled shift and responded to the call.  While en route to the call, Cpl. Gobber learned that the home owner had returned to the residence and had located two male subjects.  Cpl. Gobber further learned that the caller had the two male subjects held at the residence at gunpoint awaiting law enforcement.

Upon Cpl. Gobber’s arrival, he took the two subjects into custody.  Colt D.Warren, 17 years of age of Holden and Corey M. Wagoner, 18 years of age of Holden were arrested and transported to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.  The subjects were arrested for Stealing, a class A misdemeanor.  Both subjects were later released pending the filing of formal charges.
