On 03/23/2024 at approximately 2:57 am, deputies were dispatched to 100 S. Olive, Fastop, on a report of an alarm.

On scene it was observed the east door was broken into. With the building searched and secured, the owner arrived on scene to assess damages and losses. It was estimated the damages were approximately $40000. Items stolen was estimated at over $500.00. The scene was processed having taken pictures, and retrieving video footage of a suspect. The suspect appeared to be alone breaking into the store, damaging items in the store, and stealing several cartons of cigarettes.
